Careers and Transitions
Providing a broad range of educational pathways is important in improving student outcomes. However, young people need support to understand the options and navigate the pathways from compulsory schooling to further education, training and employment. There are a range of programs and tools available to schools to assist them to support students in their transitions.

- Information for Parents - Information on available options and pathways for young people
- Youth Transition Support Initiative - information on the Youth Transition Support Initiative and a list of the service providers
- Industry Placement Program - placements for career coordinators in government schools
- Careers Teachers in Industry - case studies of teachers participating in the Industry Placement Program which can be used as a source of ideas for enhancing your school’s links with industry.
