Connect Secondary is an education site (DEECD – Department of Education and Early Childhood Education) designed to help you locate great resources to help you study. Connect links to a wide range of online resources and topics you study at school. You can use the direct links from the home page, topics or just search to find the resources you need.

Connect includes:

• Latest websites – these change regularly
• Featured links – frequently used sites
• ‘Take action’ – listen, discover, experiment, make music, design
• ‘Tools for learning’ – online dictionaries, encyclopedias, museum, galleries
• ‘Random topics’ – collections of sites

Search for the websites, images, audio and videos that you need including the latest news, book reviews, sports updates, maths videos, virtual science experiments and web 2.0 tools for education.

Help make Connect even better! Most sites are included in Connect because they have been suggested by students who use Connect for their school work. If you have a suggestion of a site you think should be here, please ‘suggest a site’.  New sites are added to Connect every day.

The sites in Connect have been checked by educators to make sure they are suitable for use at school. Examples of sites not added to Connect include sites mostly used for recreational social networking (eg MySpace, Facebook, Bebo), sites with inappropriate text, images or links, sites that have expensive download costs (such as Google Earth).
