I’ve done the English Online Interview, now what?

The English Online Interview Teaching Resource supports teachers to build on students’ existing English skills and understandings as assessed through the English Online Interview.

The English Online Interview Teaching Resource provides focused teaching strategies for individual students and small groups of students with similar learning needs, based on their responses to the questions in each task of the English Online Interview modules.

Links to relevant sections of the English Developmental Continuum F-10 are also provided, where relevant indicators of progress and teaching strategies can be found.

Item Analysis Report and the English Online Teaching Resource

The English Online Interview Teaching Resource is designed to be used in conjunction with reports from the Insight Assessment Platform, particularly the Item Analysis Report and the Assignment Reviewer for individual students.

These reports provide details of the student’s responses to the assessment questions in each module of the English Online Interview, highlighting the mode and literacy aspect being assessed. To view student responses, click on each question number in the table or alternatively, student responses can be viewed in the Assignment Reviewer in the Test Review tab on the Insight Assessment Platform.
