Ensuring all Victorians have the opportunity to participate in high-quality literacy education is an important part of making Victoria the Education State.
This means getting students of all ages engaged in literacy and excited about seeking opportunities to improve their reading, writing, speaking and listening skills. It also involves equipping Victorians with literacy skills and capabilities demanded in a knowledge-based economy.
