 The Studies of Asia embeds the study of history, geography, literature, popular culture and traditional arts of the countries of Asia within the domains of Humanities, English and The Arts. This page provides links to resources and tools that provide support for teachers. 
  • ​Studies of Asia wikispace – provides updated professional development, scholarships, opportunities and news for Victorian teachers on a regular basis, including a monthly newsletter and units of work. 

  • Ask Asia – educational website for students and teachers covering thirty countries in Asia and featuring materials that stem from early civilizations to contemporary events.

  • The Asia New Zealand Foundation – provides units of work about the Asian region for primary and secondary teachers. 

  • Global Education – provides teaching materials, country profiles and support in teaching about global issues. 

  • Language and Multicultural Education Resource Centre (LMERC) – a specialist support centre for schools which provides expert advice to teachers and has an extensive range of resource materials to support studies of Asia.

  • Asia Education Foundation – provides a wealth of information for teachers, school leaders, students and parents around Australia.
  • The Asia Education Foundation curriculum resources – online materials for teachers to introduce or strengthen engagement with Asia. Units of work are available for primary and secondary teacher in the areas of Civics and Citizenship, Economics and Business, English, Geography, Health and Physical Education, History, Languages, Mathematics, Science, Technologies, The Arts, and Work Studies.
