Teach For Australia

From Term 1 2017, Victorian government and Catholic schools will use the new Victorian Curriculum F-10. Curriculum related information is currently being reviewed and may be subject to change.

​Teach For Australia is a program designed to attract high achieving graduates, young professionals and career-changers, to work in Victorian government secondary schools serving disadvantaged communities.

Information about the Teach For Australia program includes:

 

  • Trai​ning - outlines the Leadership Development Program, including the Master of Teaching (Secondary), that the Associates will undertake while participating in the program
  • Support for participants - outlines the range of support that is available to Associates while participating in the program
  • Be​nefits - outlines the advantages of participating in the program for Associates and schools 
  • Support for sch​ools - outlines the support available to participating schools
  • Working at the ​school - outlines the conditions of employment at the school
  • Selection proc​ess - outlines the process for selecting Associates and schools to be a part of the program.
