The ISC makes sure international students have the information and ongoing support they need to settle into their school, their homestay, and to achieving their study goals.

Mentoring arrangements involve regular communication, including face-to-face meetings, phone and electronic contact as well as participation in workshops.

ISC school clusters
ISC school clusters provide professional learning, knowledge transfer and networking for ISCs and their schools. Accredited schools are organised in cluster groups across regions. ISCs from the schools in each cluster meet throughout the year, enabling them to engage and share information with each other and representatives from the Department on operational and policy matters.
ISC school clusters also include professional development activities and support the implementation of the ISC professional learning and mentoring programs.
