Regional Principal Forums 2018

Leading excellence in teaching and learning – unleashing greatness together. The forums will provide principals, assistant principals and school leaders with the opportunity to learn and engage with peers, local and global leaders in education.

The program builds on from 2017’s theme, inspired teaching and learning – creating the education state. This program established a shared understanding of the what and why, required for sustained professional growth and improvement.

At the 2018 forums, school leaders will develop a deeper understanding of the how, looking explicitly at evidence proven practice that will improve student outcomes in classrooms.

The breadth and depth of the expert practitioners and presenters will expand our shared work to transform practice and lead improvement in our schools and across our system.

The forums will further build the strength of instructional leaders whose charge is to lead excellence in teaching and learning in their schools, in all classrooms, for all students.


Over the two day program school leaders will have the opportunity to register in multiple interactive opportunities including:


Principals, assistant principals and school leaders should attend.


  • North Eastern Victoria: Monday 4 and Tuesday 5 June
  • South Western Victoria: Wednesday 6 and Thursday 7 June
  • North Western Victoria: Tuesday 12 and Wednesday 13 June
  • South Eastern Victoria: Thursday 14 and Friday 15 June.

$250 for principals, assistant principals and school leaders.


Principals with a significant teaching load and rural schools will be able to access a grant to contribute towards CRT, travel, accommodation and registration costs. Only one grant is available per school.
