Quality school infrastructure is important to support all Victorian students in their learning. A contemporary, high quality and student-centred environment can drive improvements in teaching and learning.
The Department of Education and Training is committed to supporting schools in the delivery of capital works and planned maintenance with a ten-year goal to have all facilities at a minimum condition standard and fit for contemporary teaching and learning practices.
The Department has developed a suite of building and infrastructure policy documents to assist schools in the understanding and management of their infrastructure assets including buildings, property and sites.
