Engineers design, create, build and manage devices and systems for the benefit of society and the economy.

It is a very hands-on industry and there are many different types of engineering workplaces. In this video, we look at the occupational health and safety issues that may arise at a workplace that fabricates components from steel. Students are encouraged to watch this video prior to going on work experience or structured workplace learning in the engineering industry.
