Accessing School Information

From Term 1 2017, Victorian government and Catholic schools will use the new Victorian Curriculum F-10. Curriculum related information is currently being reviewed and may be subject to change.

For more information on the curriculum, see:

The Freedom of Information Act 1982 provides you with the right to access information in the possession of the State Government of Victoria, including this Department.

How do I find information about my time at school?

If you would like to access copies of your school records or obtain information about a current or former teacher in a Victorian government school you are able to make a Freedom of Information (FOI) Request. For more information, see: Making a Freedom of Information Request

Please note that the FOI Act contains some exemptions as to the kind of information that can be released to protect public interest and personal information of individuals. Each application will be assessed in accordance with the Act.

For more information about the FOI process, including how to make a request, see: Freedom Of Information
