From Term 1 2017, Victorian government and Catholic schools will use the new Victorian Curriculum F-10. Curriculum related information is currently being reviewed and may be subject to change.
For more information on the curriculum, see:
The Victorian Curriculum F–10 - VCAA
Student reports are used for every student in all Victorian government schools to report achievement and progress.
In Prep to Year 10, student achievement is reported against the Victorian Curriculum F-10 achievement standards.
Reports provide you with a clear picture of your child’s progress at the end of a specified period of schooling showing:
where your child is on the learning continuum
how well they are progressing towards expected levels of achievement and individual learning goals and targets
where they need to improve and what the next steps in their learning will be
For English, Mathematics and Science your child’s progress will also be shown in relation to the learning of their peers.
You will receive a student report at least twice a year and be offered the opportunity to participate, together with your child, in parent-teacher conferences to discuss your child's progress. The student report will provide information to enable a meaningful conversation about your child’s learning to start and/or continue with their teacher.

Victorian Government School Performance Summary
Each performance summary provides the overall results of students and how the school compares with other Victorian government schools, taking into account its student intake.
Each school also provides an About our School statement, which provides context for the data contained in each school’s performance summary and outlines the school's achievements and plans for the future.
All government school performance summaries and school annual reports to the community are available on the Victorian Registration and Qualifications Authority (VRQA) State Register website.
