Physical Education and School Sport
From Term 1 2017, Victorian government and Catholic schools will use the new Victorian Curriculum F-10. Curriculum related information is currently being reviewed and may be subject to change.

Research confirms that increased physical activity and fitness enhances students’ mental and social development. All Victorian government schools offer all students the opportunity to participate in a range of physical activities.
Physical education and sport are timetabled and are part of every student’s learning from Prep to Year 10.
We acknowledge students’ outstanding sporting achievements with the Victorian School Sports Awards each year.
As well as increasing activity levels, physical education and school sport classes are shown to develop children's sense of fair play, self-confidence and their capacity for teamwork. School sport also provides important connections to community sporting organisations that help incourage a child’s lifelong participation in healthy activities.
