Innovating with Technology

A broad range of technologies are being used in innovative ways in Victorian schools to extend learning opportunities, enrich student experiences, and improve learning outcomes.

The use of technologies, such as laptops/netbooks/tablets, Personal Digital Assistants (PDAs), the internet, digital microscopes, adaptive technology devices, iphones, robotics, radio frequency identification devices, interactive whiteboards, video conferencing and virtual classrooms are being used to support learners to communicate, collaborate, create, solve problems, access new knowledge, form learning communities, and link to knowledge experts.
