Anne helped participants learn how to connect, collaborate and create outside the classroom with staff and students from all cultures, nationalities and languages. She showed how teachers and students extend their communication and e-skills: netiquette, digital citizenship skills, cybersafety, using web 2.0 tools, collaborating and working in a virtual team, risk-taking, scheduling, project management and creating effective products for a global audience. Web 2.0 tools used include wikis, nings, blogs, Timebridge, Skype, Elluminate, Discover E, Delicious and Google applications. Timebridge, Elluminate and Skype allow global staff access to the weekly online staff meetings. The presentation was a taste of the hottest 21st-century learning.
