Permission to Conduct Research

The Department is frequently approached by researchers for assistance and approval to conduct research with schools, early childhood services, staff members of the department, services delivered or funded by the Department.

Conducting Research in Victorian Government Schools – the Research Branch in the Office of Policy, Research and Innovation coordinate the approval process for applications to conduct research in Victorian government schools.

Early Childhood Research - the Office for Planning, Strategy and Coordination Early Childhood Research Committee coordinates and approves requests relating to research applications involving Victorian children and their families who participate in early childhood services.
