Recent opportunities

Innovating with Technology Research Grants  - research grants of $6,000 (excluding GST) have been made available to schools to conduct evidence-based research projects that demonstrate the impact of technologies on student performance. Applications closed 9 June 2009.

Grants for Practitioner-led Research Program - research grants of $5,000-$15,000 have been made available to schools and children’s services to undertake practitioner-led research to address the Department’s Research Priority Areas of Interest. Applications closed 13 May 2009.

Emerging Technologies Grants -  in 2008 funding was provided for eligible schools to undertake projects utilising emerging information and communication technologies (ICT) to enhance student engagement and understanding of curriculum, create digital stories and run online conferences.
