The Western Metropolitan Region aims to provide high quality learning opportunities for teachers, principals and staff working in education across the region. This section provides details of professional learning opportunities for teachers, leaders and other staff in our region’s schools as well as details of professional learning opportunities for child care workers, kindergarten teachers, maternal and child health nurses, and primary and secondary school nurses.

Early Childhood Professional Learning
Professional learning opportunities for early childhood professionals (child care workers, kindergarten teachers, maternal and child health nurses, and primary and secondary school nurses) are currently provided by a variety of external service providers and details can be found on the websites of individual organisations. -
School Professional Learning
Professional learning opportunities for principals, teachers and other school-based staff are provided by the Western Metropolitan Region in a range of key areas.
