The Western Metropolitan Region recognises the vital role parents play in the education of your children.
It is our aim to provide you with valuable information, advice and resources on all stages of your child’s development and learning.
This includes access to information in the following important areas:
- Maternal and Child Health Service - information on this health and support service for families and children from birth to school age, including children with disabilities and developmental delays
- Childcare and Kindergarten - information on childcare and kindergarten services and choices
- Support Services – information for families with children who have additional needs
- Schools - information on schools, school networks and school councils
- Later Years of Schooling – information on VCE, VCAL, VET and SBNA in later years of schooling.
- Careers and Tertiary Education - information on how you can prepare and advise your children in their transitions from school to TAFE, university or work
- Koorie Education and Support Services - information on services and support for Aboriginal children and their families.
