Learning and Teaching
Schools in Western Metropolitan Region teach all domains of the Victorian Essential Learning Standards (VELS).
The core work of our region is to improve the performance of every student, teacher, leader and school. Our region supports teachers and students through the development of learning and teaching professional learning and resources in curriculum and program areas. For school professionals, we provide professional learning activities, access to the support of project officers, networks and coaches and some websites and wikis.
Within our region we have consultants and project officers responsible for specific curriculum or program areas. These staff can provide teachers with information, support and assistance.
