Maternal and Child Health
The Maternal and Child Health Service is a free health service for all Victorian families. It provides parents with resources to monitor and maintain the health and wellbeing of their children in the crucial early years of their development.

- Maternal and Child Health Centres - staffed with registered nurses to support parents and assist with early childhood health concerns
- Maternal and Child Health Line – a 24-hour helpline hotline for support, information and advice
- Child Health Record – which is provided to monitor your child’s development and identify when any further assessment, referrals or support is needed
- Maternal and child health appointments - to assess your child’s development and identify when any further assessment, referrals or support is needed
- Parent Support Services - such as access to early parenting centres and Parentline
- Resources - providing information on language development, child health and nutrition.
