Regional Information for Parents

Our Department recognises the vital role parents play in the education of your children.

It is our aim to provide you with valuable information, advice and resources on all stages of your child’s development and learning.

This includes access to information in the following important areas:

• Maternal and Child Health Service - information on this health and support service for families and children from birth to school age
• Child care and kindergarten - information on choices for child care and kindergarten services
• Schools - information on schools, school networks and school councils
• Support services – regional based support for families and children who have additional or special needs
• Later years of schooling - information on how you can prepare and advise your children for their move from school to TAFE, university and work.
