This Activity provides professional learning for teachers of students with additional learning needs in mainstream schools. The professional learning is delivered by teachers from specialist schools in the use of appropriate planning and teaching strategies.
The professional learning is underpinned by DEECD’s Principles of Highly Effective Professional Learning and includes:
“Gives insights into alternative ways to tackle the curriculum in a meaningful way for all students.”

A Digital Story has been produced focussing on Marnebek School and Kilberry Valley Primary School, Southern Metropolitan Region. The digital story highlights how mainstream schools can build a whole school approach to support students with additional learning needs.
