Problems logging in?
The Challenge online application is used by schools to register students for the Challenge and to verify students’ reading records. Students use the application to record the books they have read for the Challenge. The online application is accessed via a login that requires a username and password.
School login
Teachers, librarians and other school staff log in via the school login link.
- Government schools - teachers and Challenge Coordinators log in using their 8 digit Edumail usernames and passwords. Teachers who have forgotten their Edumail logon details should contact their Principal or ICT Coordinator.
- Non-government schools - teachers should hold or apply for a new Eduweb account and password to use for the Challenge. Further information is available from Eduweb accounts. Teachers who have forgotten their Eduweb login details should contact their Principal.

To get a username and password your school needs to be registered, then to register you.
You can check if your school is registered from February 2012. Go to Schools in the Challenge link on this website. If your school is not on this list, ask your teacher to register the school, then to register you.
If you have forgotten your username and/or password, ask your teacher or a Challenge Coordinator in your school.
If you get the error message 'Please check your username and password', check you have correctly spelt both your username and password.
If you have entered the correct username and password and the screen refreshes with the login box empty, you may need to try accessing the Premiers' Reading Challenge website using Mozilla Firefox as the web browser. Mozilla Firefox is available free to download.
