What do you love about reading?
The escapism, the joy of spending time delving into subjects you love and of course, the pictures!
Which character from a book would you most like to meet or to be?
Hmmmm – tough question…possibly Charlie Bucket – that all worked out quite well in the end, afterall, he got a chocolate factory!
Where is the best place to read a book?
For me – somewhere relatively quiet, I’m possibly too easily distracted!
What were you like at school?
Very smart and awfully polite! (Actually, average intelligence, still quite polite – particularly shy!)
What are your hobbies?
Drawing – funnily enough! And cooking – and watching many many movies.
Do you have any pets or kids?
I have one pet – Eddie, he’s a Pomeranian x Chihuahua…resembles a fox a bit.
I have no kids – all in good time for that!
What is your most treasured possession?
I seem to have amassed many treasured possessions over the years so it’s hard to pick one – so I’ll say Eddie, in case he reads this – an offended Pomeranian Chihuahua (or ‘pomchi’) isn’t a pleasant one.
What is one interesting fact about yourself that nobody else would know?
I once experimented mixing coca cola with milk – it seemed like it might’ve been nice. To find out the result – give it a go!
What book would you take to a deserted island?
One of those ‘ultimate survival guides’ - preferably one that included raft building instructions.
Your words of wisdom to students completing the Premiers' Reading Challenge?
Read! Read what you love to read about (always makes it easier) and try a thing or two you normally mightn't, you may discover something new you love to read about!
