A message from the Premier

Welcome to the Victorian Premier’s Reading Challenge for 2008. I am delighted to renew the invitation to Victorian students to take this fourth annual Premier’s Reading Challenge. Over the past three years, Victorian students have read more than seven million books in their reading for the Challenge! Collectively they have discovered new worlds, new words, new ideas and new friends in books. They have developed new skills in reading and literacy and for learning in all areas of their lives.

Kora, like any youngster, is out to amaze the world with her first egg.

Why I love reading…

I love reading fiction books because I use my imagination and it takes me to the world I have never been to.

My favourite book is Matilda by Roald Dahl. My other favourite book is The Twits which is also by Roald Dahl.
