20 March Term 1 ends - All school registrations complete
7 April Term 2 begins
1 June - MS Readathon begins
27 June Term 2 ends - All student registrations completed
30 June - MS Readathon ends
14 July Term 3 begins
16 August - Children’s Book Week
18 August - Schools finalise their reading and records from this date to allow time to complete and check data before 31 August
31 August - Victorian Premier’s Reading Challenge ends. The Challenge online application closes. No data can be entered after this date
1 September - National Literacy and Numeracy Week
19 September Term 3 ends
6 October Term 4 begins
During Term 4 - Celebrations of student achievement
19 December Term 4 ends
