Case Studies

The following case studies provide insights into how a number of schools have improved the learning outcomes of their students.

A number of tools and strategies have been included throughout each case study to assist schools in planning and implementing a whole school approach to improving student outcomes. The 'tools' can be used as they are presented or modified to suit local needs.

The school has been interested and involved in developing innovative approaches to improve student learning and staff team development for many years.

  Mordialloc College has an eighty two year history of servicing the local area and students from a vast range of backgrounds. The school has been interested and involved in developing innovative approaches to student learning and staff team development for many years.
• Morwell Park Primary School
  Morwell Park Primary School is a school with a unique student body. Situated in an area that was formerly an State Electricity Commission township, it has seen a number of changes. The beginning of school reform at Morwell Park came some years ago when the school data demonstrated a drop in student engagement and attendance.
