Guidelines

To assist with the accreditation process, a small schools version of the Guidelines for Applicants for Accreditation (PDF - 2.1Mb) has been developed.

Phase one - establishing readiness

Self Assessment

Like other schools, small schools should start by undertaking a self assessment using the Self Assessment Framework (PDF - 222Kb). Schools that are ready for accreditation will have achieved Level 4 of the framework.

A Self Assessment Pack of 3 short questionnaires is also available. These are designed for schools to support their self-assessment. They are not required as part of the verification process.

Phase two - verification

Online Performance and Development Culture Questionnaire (PDCQ)

The PDCQ is Step 1 of the verification process. It is an online teacher questionnaire used to establish the extent to which teachers believe the school has a Performance and Development Culture.
