Resources - The Five Elements

Element 3 - Individual Teacher Development Plans

Individual Development Plans for teachers provide a supportive mechanism which links individual teacher practice and professional learning. Effective individual development plans ensure that professional learning is customised to meet identified teacher needs. Negotiation and discussion around the development of the plans supports staff collaboration related to planning and evaluating professional practice.
