Facilitated Support Visits

Facilitated Support Visits have been designed to support schools that have not been able to demonstrate that they have reached the standard for P&D Culture accreditation before the end of 2008.

Each school will participate in a Facilitated Support Visit where a trained P&D Culture facilitator will encourage discussion about the school’s current situation and support the development of actions to enable the school to achieve the accreditation standard in 2009.

The school’s Regional Network Leader will also be involved in the visit and assist the school to implement the actions over the coming year.

P&DC Beyond Accreditation

Accreditation signifies that schools have the five foundational elements of the P&D Culture Self Assessment Framework in place. In line with principles of continuous improvement it is expected that schools will continue to enhance each of the five elements. The Department will provide information and resources in the new year which will support schools to do this.

The formal accreditation process will cease in 2008. Schools will be able to monitor their P&D Culture through a new P&D Culture section in the School Level Report. This will enable schools to track their progress over time.
