Accreditation - Verification

There are two steps in the external verification process:

  1. On-line survey (Performance and Development Culture Questionnaire or PDCQ)
  2. All teaching staff complete a confidential online survey. This instrument will provide reliable data given a minimum 90% response rate. The results of the survey will be returned to the school and will provide evidence to assist in deciding whether to proceed to step 2. For schools with less than 4 teaching staff, a small schools survey is available. See: Performance and Development Culture Questionnaire (PDF - 140Kb) and Performance and Development Culture Questionnaire - Small Schools (PDF - 143Kb)
  3. Application
  4. Guidelines for preparing an application for accreditation have been developed. In effect, they invite schools to tell the story of how they went about creating and supporting a Performance and Development Culture. Schools are asked to provide evidence supporting their story in order to indicate that the standards for accreditation have been met. This evidence will include the results of the on-line survey. For schools with less than 4 teaching staff, a small schools version of the guidelines is available.
