The Government may, at various times, identify particular priorities for investment in school facilities, including public-private partnerships.

Victorian Schools Plan

The Victorian Schools Plan (2007–2011) details the Government’s financial commitments for capital investment during the current term of Government.

The Plan is implemented through its Building Futures policy framework.

Building Futures policy

Building Futures provides a structure within which school communities and Regional Offices can plan their infrastructure needs for new and existing schools.

The policy aims to ensure that expenditure on educational assets provides Victorian communities with access to a modern curriculum, individualised learning opportunities and excellent school facilities.

Partnerships Victoria in Schools

The Victorian Government is delivering eleven new schools in the growing communities of Melbourne through a public-private partnership arrangement.
