TriCAD is a 2D drawing and 3D modelling package specifically designed for the Australian Education and Training Market . The package has been developed for Windows and features a very user friendly interface. A set of on-screen, interactive tutorials are included. Suitable for the Middle and Later Years of Schooling as well as for use within TAFE colleges and Universities. Ideal for curriculum key learning areas of technology, science and mathematics. Students of mathematics and science with a sound knowledge of BASIC can also program directly into TriCAD.

New Licenses
If you are purchasing TriCAD for the first time a site licence entitles the school to run the software on all computers on the one Campus Site.

Home Use
Staff at licensed Education Sites are permitted to use the program on home computers for classroom preparation. The software can be installed for use on lap-top computers for use by students away from the campus on the condition that the lap-top computers are the property of the School. For institutions where students are required to install software on their privately owned lap-tops a special licence structure must be negotiated.

Platform / Operating System Requirements

Windows - Minimum specification Pentium 166 MHz with 32 Mb of RAM, less than 6 MB of disk space (but optional Show Me help files require approximately 200Mb of additional space), CD Rom drive. Can be configured to run on Windows, Novell and Citrix Metaframe networks.
