Freehand is the tool of choice for designers creating and producing illustrations and layouts fro print on the Web. Freehand's uses range from commercial line art illustrations and newspaper infographics to mixed media pieces that combine line art with bit mapped images and typography, as well as graphic elements, interfaces and animation for the Internet. Particularly good for schools as they migrate towards an online curriculum.

Concurrent (CONC) Licenses: often the number of machines in a networked environment is greater than the number of users actually using the software at any one time. Providing the number of users does not exceed the number of concurrent licenses owned, the school is license compliant.
