The Enterprise CAL Suite Enterprise entitles the use of additional client functionality available on server products. Further information is available on the Microsoft’s Licensing Brief (Base and Additive Client Access Licenses: An Explanation).
Desktop Products
Unlimited instances;
- Microsoft Office Professional 2010 (Windows) - includes Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access, Outlook, Publisher, InfoPath, Sharepoint Work Space, Lync and One Note.
- Office Mac 2011 (Apple) - includes Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook.
- Student with Encarta Premium - contains Encyclopaedia, Graphing Calculator, Web Companion, Project Starters, and On-line maths homework help (can only be installed on DEECD owned computers only, not available for student owned computers).
- Microsoft Office Computer Based Training - Basic and Advanced eLearning is now available online.
- Microsoft Photo Story, Producer, Movie Maker, Media Player, Media Encoder.
Limited instances; Contact appointed Microsoft supplier for availability
- Visio - standard edition. There are only limited installations of Visio.

Project - standard edition. There are only limited installations of Project.
Note: These are non Standard Operating Environment software products requiring managerial approval and should be requested through the DEECD Service Gateway.
Operating Systems

Upgrades Only. These include deployment of both 32-bit and 64-bit where available:
- Windows 7 Enterprise
- Windows Vista (Enterprise and Ultimate)
- Windows XP Pro upgrade
VISTA Ultimate is not available under a Volume License Key (VLK).
Please note that a qualifying operating system is required to deploy this upgrade.
Schools requiring older versions of operating systems should contact the Department's appointed Microsoft software supplier for availability
Resources
MSDN Academic Alliance
The MSDN Academic Alliance is the easiest and most inexpensive way for academic departments to make the latest Microsoft software available in labs, classrooms, and on student PCs. The program, has two primary goals: To make it easier and less expensive for academic institutions to obtain Microsoft developer tools, platforms, and servers for instructional and research purposes and to build a community of instructors who can share curriculum and other learning resources to support the use of these technologies.

Software for the Teachers and Principals Notebook Program
The eduSTAR software is pre-installed on notebooks supplied under the Department’s Teachers and Principals Notebook Program:
- Microsoft Office
- Upgraded Operating System.

All software must be used in accordance with the Copyright Act 1968 and the Department's Software - Licensing and Copyright Policy and the Microsoft User Rights Policy (http://www.microsoftvolumelicensing.com/userights/default.aspx).
