Statistics
The curriculum computer to student ratio in Victorian Government schools is currently 1:2.47 for Primary schools and 1:1.89 for Secondary schools. This ratio is based on information provided by schools in the February 2011 Census of Computers in Schools. The result includes computers that are used by students, and excludes administration computers.

The Census of Computers in schools is held annually in the last week of February. Collection of data is required to ensure accurate planning of Information and Communication Technology (ICT) provisioning.
Data must be submitted on the designated census day in February.
Schools can access their census data any time to update their records, at http://www.eduweb.vic.gov.au/computernumbers. Schools will need to log on to this site using the school's Edumail PIN and password.
