Notebooks Program - Program Operation

Eligibility Guidelines
To be eligible to participate in the program, you must:
- be a teacher, para-professional or principal class officer employed in a Victorian government school (either contract or permanent)
- be on the central payroll with a valid EduMail account
- check your EduMail account on a regular basis.
Staff members paid locally (e.g. CRTs) are not eligible to lease notebooks, because notebook contribution payments must be deducted from the recipient’s salary.
As per schedule 3 of the terms and conditions of the Notebook Program, you must also demonstrate a commitment to ongoing professional development in the use of Learning Technologies, by:
- regularly using the notebook in the school
- undertaking 40 hours of professional development in eLearning confirmed in a professional development plan and achieved over the period of the agreement
- using the Notebook as a tool in the promotion and development of eLearning through planning, teaching and curriculum, professional learning and team leadership
- sharing curriculum materials or teaching strategies that are developed using the notebook.
