The Notebooks for Teachers and Principals Program

The Notebooks for Teachers and Principals Program provides notebook computers for use by eligible Victorian Government school principals and teachers. The Department leases notebooks from a lessor on three year leasing cycles and provides notebooks to Program participants who contribute towards the costs of the Program.

The Program is available to Teacher, Instructor and Principal class officers employed in Victorian Government Schools. Both contract and permanent officers are eligible to join the program.

The Program supports and encourages principals and teachers to effectively integrate the use of learning technologies into the classroom and administrative practices of schools. Principals and teachers participating in the program are expected to demonstrate a commitment to ongoing professional development in the use of Learning Technologies.
