EduLibrary - Electronic Document Repository
Overview
EduLibrary is an on-line electronic library of Departmental publications, and is available via the DEECD@work intranet and EduMail service. EduLibrary enables users to view documents on-line, print or save copies of documents to their local environment.
Goals
The main goal of the EduLibrary service is to improve access to Department based information by enabling documents to be stored and available electronically, thereby ensuring that all staff in schools, VET providers and the Department have access to the latest version of:
- Official Departmental Mail and Circulars sent to schools
- Policies and Executive memoranda
- Guidelines, manuals and forms
- Curriculum material, including the Victorian Essential Learning Standards
Implementation
The EduLibrary facility was introduced in conjunction with the EduMail service during the first half of 1998, and like EduMail, is being provided centrally over VicSmart. Access is also available to staff through the Internet and DEECD@work intranet.
