Key Dates

The EMA key dates include the dates that parents or guardians must be receiving a benefit from Centrelink to be eligible - eligibility day; the day that any students applying for EMA must be enrolled by - census day; when parent applications must be received by schools and the deadline for schools to have entered all EMA applications into the EMA web system. 

Instalment one

• Eligibility day - 27 January 2010
• Parent applications close - 26 February 2010
• Census day - 26 February 2010
• School applications close - 5 March 2010
• Final school date for late applications - 30 April 2010

 

Instalment two

• Eligibility day - 12 July 2010
• Parent applications close - 6 August 2010
• Census day - 6 August 2010
• School applications close - 13 August 2010
• Final school date for late applications - 8 October 2010
