This is a great place to get an understanding of the process and to begin integrating ICT and eLearning across your school. Resources available to assist in whole-school planning include:
eLearning Planning Guide (PDF - 1.7Mb) - supports Victorian government schools to make eLearning planning an integral part of their School Strategic Plan and Annual Implementation Plan.
eLearning Planning Matrix (A4 version) (Word - 119Kb) or eLearning Planning Matrix (A3 version) (Word - 368Kb) - a detailed framework that enables schools to identify where they are in relation to the elements of eLearning practice.
eLearning Planning Template (A4 version) (Word - 52Kb) or eLearning Planning Template (A3 version) (Word - 47Kb) - a template to use with the eLearning Planning Matrix to help you reflect on your existing and target practice, and identify relevant eLearning strategies/actions as next steps for improvement.
eLearning Showcase - includes resources to help schools develop a plan for integrating ICT into all aspects of school activity to improve student learning outcomes. Internet services and guidelines for schools
School Internet Management - Outlines several strategies to manage internet traffic in schools.
Acceptable use policy for Department of Education, information, Communications and technology (ICT) systems - Outlines appropriate use of the Department's electronic communications including internet and email.
Internet Services for Schools - Internet services to schools are supplied by Netspace through the eduSTAR.ISP program.
Learning On Line - Supports schools in developing and maintaining websites that meet current government guidelines and standards. It also support schools to develop a simple, comprehensive approach for minimising the risks associated with Internet use.
Digital Copyright and Online Privacy - Information to support schools in meeting the requirements of the Information Privacy Act, the Copyright Act and the Public Records Act when operating in an online environment.
