01. Finde die Wörter!Obwohl das traditionelle “warme Mittagessen” bei vielen noch stattfindet, haben sich die Essgewohnheiten in Deutschland ziemlich verändert. Da viele Frauen auch arbeiten, ist es oft so, dass ein warmes Essen erst abends serviert wird. Viele Kinder kommen aber doch noch am frühen Nachmittag nach Hause und essen eine warme Mahlzeit. Einige Kinder können auch in der Schule essen. Das Abendessen ist dann oft eine kleinere Mahlzeit und es gibt Brot, Käse, Aufschnitt, Salat oder eine Suppe. Brot ist ein wichtiger Bestandteil der deutschen Küche. Es werden mehr als 200 Brotsorten angeboten. Die Deutschen essen hauptsächlich Roggen- und Vollkornbrot und nicht so viel Weißbrot.Das deutsche Essen ist bekannt für seine regionalen Spezialitäten. Im Norden isst man mehr Kartoffeln als im Süden und trinkt auch mehr Tee als Kaffee. Im Süden Deutschlands werden oft Spätzle – eine Nudelart – serviert. Milch und Käse spielen in Süddeutschland (im Alpenland) eine große Rolle. Im Norden gibt es viele Fischspezialitäten. In Deutschland gibt es zum Frühstück verschiedene Brotsorten und Brötchen mit Marmelade, verschiedene Käsesorten oder Aufschnitt. Kinder essen gern Müsli oder Cornflakes. Am Wochenende essen die Deutschen mehr zum Frühstück (Eier, Joghurt, Quark). Viele Leute frühstücken auch in einem Café. Mineralwasser wird überall getrunken und man trinkt eigentlich kaum Wasser aus dem Hahn. Oft mischt man auch Saft mit Mineralwasser – das nennt man dann Schorle. Kinder trinken morgens oft Kakao. Hier darf man mit 16 Jahren Bier, Wein und Sekt trinken. Bier ist sehr beliebt in Deutschland und es gibt mehr als 5000 Biersorten! – es ist wirklich das Nationalgetränk. Wein und Schnaps aus Getreide und verschiedenen Obstsorten werden auch gern getrunken. Fleisch vom Schwein wird häufig als Kotelett, Schnitzel oder Schweinshaxe serviert. Ich habe aber auch Lammfleisch aus Neuseeland gegessen, obwohl es hier relativ teuer ist. Würstchen sind sehr beliebt und man kann viele verschiedene Sorten beim Schnellimbiss kaufen. Da gibt es auch Pommes Frites, Frikadellen und Kartoffelsalat. Kaffee und Kuchen gibt es nachmittags am Wochenende. Familie und Freunde werden oft zum Kaffee eingeladen. In Deutschland gibt es jede Menge verschiedene Kuchen – einige, wie Apfelstrudel und Schwarzwälder Kirschtorte, sind auch im Ausland bekannt. Ich esse gerne Kuchen und meine Mutter kann sehr gut backen. Gesünder zu essen ist ein Trend in Deutschland. Die Wochenmärkte bieten viel frisches Gemüse und Produkte vom Bauernhof an. Im Bioladen kann man auch biodynamisches Fleisch, Obst und Gemüse kaufen. Die internationale Küche ist in Deutschland auch weitverbreitet. 01. WordsearchAlthough the traditional “hot lunch” is still enjoyed/experienced by many, German eating habits have changed quite a bit. Because many women also do paid work, it is quite common that the warm meal of the day is served in the evening. Many children still come home in the early afternoon and eat a warm meal. Some children can also eat their meal at school. Dinner is then often a smaller meal with bread, cheese, cold sliced meats, salad or soup. Bread is a very important component of the German diet. There are more than 200 kinds of bread made. Germans eat mainly rye and coarse wholemeal bread and not very much white bread.German food and cooking is well known for its regional specialities. In Northern Germany more potatoes are eaten than in the South. People in the North also drink more tea than in the South. In Southern Germany a special type of pasta – Spätzle is often served. Dairy products play an large role in Southern Germany, particularly in the alpine regions. In Northern Germany there are many fish specialities. Breakfast involves a variety of breads and bread rolls with jam, different types of cheese or cold sliced meats. Children like eating muesli or cereal. On the weekend Germans eat a wider range of foods such as eggs, yoghurt and quark. A lot of people also have breakfast or brunch in a café on the weekend. Mineral water is consumed everywhere and people don’t really drink water from the tap. It is common to mix fruit juice with mineral water and this drink is known as a “Schorle”. Children often drink warm cocoa in the morning. Here you are allowed to drink beer, wine and champagne from the age of 16. Beer is extremely popular in Germany and there are more than 500 types of beer produced – it really is the national drink. Wine and Schnaps made from cereals and a variey of fruits are also popular. Pork is often served as a pork chop, schnitzel or knuckle of pork. But I have eaten lamb from New Zealand, although it is quite expensive here. Sausages are very popular and you can buy many different varieties at snack bars as well as french fries, hamburgers and potato salad. Afternoon tea happens on weekends in the afternoon. Family and friends are often invited over for coffee and cake. In Germany there are lots of different cakes, some of which, such as apple strudel and black forest cake are well-known overseas. I like eating cake and my mum is very good at baking them. Eating a more healthy diet is a trend in Germany. Weekly markets offer a lot of fresh vegetables and other products direct from the farmer. In health food shops you can buy organic meat, fruit and vegetables. International cuisine is widespread in Germany. 09. Mein ideales HausMein ideales Haus ist in der Nähe vom Strand. Ich möchte am Strand wohnen, weil es viel schöner ist, als in der Innenstadt zu wohnen.Mein Haus sieht sehr modern aus. Es ist aus Stein und Holz gebaut. Es ist dreistöckig, damit ich das Meer gut sehen kann. Ich brauche einen großen Garten mit Schwimmbad. Das Haus hat große Fenster und alle Zimmer sind hell und auch sehr groß. Eine breite Treppe führt nach oben zu den Schlafzimmern. Mein riesiges Schlafzimmer ist im obersten Stock und ich habe ein zusätzliches Zimmer nur für fernsehen und Musik hören. Natürlich habe ich mein eigenes Badezimmer, damit meine Schwester mich nicht ärgert! In meinem Schlafzimmer habe ich einen Computer, einen Schreibtisch, eine große, bequeme Couch, ein kleines Bett für meine Katzen und ganz viele Kleiderschränke an der einen Wand. Die andere Wand hat ganz viel Platz für meine Lieblingsposter und Fotos. Zwei große Schiebetüren öffnen zu einer Terrasse. Ich hoffe, daß ich eines Tages wirklich mein Traumhaus haben kann! |
09. My ideal houseMy ideal house is close to the beach. I would like to live at the beach because it's much nicer than living in the inner city.My house looks very modern. It is built of stone and timber. It is three-storeys so that I can easily see the ocean. I need a big garden with a swimming pool. The house has big windown and all the rooms are light and very big. A wide staircase leads up to the bedrooms. My huge bedroom is on the top floor and I have an additional room just for watching TV and listening to music. Of course I have my own bathroom so that my sister doesn't annoy me. In my bedroom I have a computer, a desk, a big, comfortable couch, a little bed for my cats and lots of wardrobes along one wall. The other wall has lots of room for my favourite posters and photos. Two large sliding doors open out to a terrace. I hope that one day I really can have my dream house! |
