What is meant by Innovation and Next practice?

Innovation and ‘next practice’ refers to a model of change, premised on disciplined innovation, which is practitioner informed, supported by formative research and has the potential to inform educational practices beyond a single school.

How do I apply for the Teacher Professional Leave (TPL) scheme?

The Teacher Professional Leave scheme is run by the Teacher & SSO Development Unit, another branch of DEECD. Knowledge Bank is the site where teachers can publish the results of their professional learning journey. To apply for TPL, please go to TPL website.

How do I submit a case study for Knowledge Bank to consider publishing

For case studies originating from the Teacher Professional Leave scheme, please follow the submission process outlined in the TPL documentation. For unsolicited case studies, please see the guidelines (and template)

How does Knowledge Bank relate to Ultranet?

Knowledge Bank will sit underneath the Ultranet structure, functioning as both a portal and a repository of innovative and next practices in teaching and learning, especially in the Victorian school context.
