OHS Risk Management

The methodology by which the Department of Education and Early Childhood Development (DEECD) identifies, assesses, controls and monitors Occupational Health and Safety (OHS) risks throughout the organisation is detailed in the OHS Risk Management Procedure.

This methodology is used to prioritise risks to assist in the allocation of resources for the selection and implementation of required risk controls in all DEECD school and non-school workplaces. Within the OHS Risk Management section you will find the DEECD Workplace Risk Register and procedures/forms related to Hazard & Incident Reporting and Safe Work Procedures to assist you to manage these risks in your workplace.
