The Department has commenced a WorkSafe Claims Advisory Service to assist principals with the management of complex WorkSafe claims.
This service is designed to improve return to work outcomes for employees by ensuring that principals can access timely injury management and return to work advice from the Department’s WorkSafe claims advisory consultant at the time the employee suffers the work related illness or injury.
The Advisory Service can provide principals with prompt WorkSafe claims and return to work management guidance, ‘just in time training’ and support for the management of the more complex ‘time lost’ WorkCover claims.
