Health and Wellbeing

There are a range of measures in place to ensure children and students are supported and have proper access to health and safety services.

Current information covers:

  • Child and Youth Development - best start, catalogue of evidence, reports on early intervention strategies for children and young people
  • Additional and Special Needs - early childhood intervention services, students with disabilities programs and funding
  • Health - head lice, anaphylaxis, mental health promotion, primary and secondary school nurses, special provisions for VCE exams
  • Student Safety - bullying, protecting students on the web, drug education, Safe@work, Critical Incidents, child protection
  • Student Wellbeing - student wellbeing policy; student code of conduct, student attendance, students in out-of-home care, Best Start, Abilities Awareness, alternative programs, Primary Welfare Officer Initiative, School Focussed Youth Service, students with disabilities
