Translated information sheets, guidelines and videos
The Information sheet for families and Guidelines to help families complete the Transition Learning and Development Statement – Part 1: the family, have been translated into the languages below.
Two videos have been developed in selected languages to provide further access to information regarding the Transition: A Positive Start to School initiative for families from culturally and linguistically diverse backgrounds.
The first video, based on the Information sheet for families, provides tips and advice to help families ensure their child gets a good start at school. This includes recommendations for activities and practices families can undertake before school starts, on the child’s first day at school and during their first year.
The second video, based on the Guidelines to help families complete the Transition Learning and Development Statement – Part 1: the family, informs families about completing the Transition Learning and Development Statement for their child, the information they should include and how they are involved in the process.
