Victorian Early Years Learning and Development Framework Modules

Four modules of professional learning are available to support early childhood professionals to embed the Victorian Early Years Learning and Development Framework in daily practice. The modules are available both face-to-face and online.

Online

The modules are available on FUSE as resource packages. Each module contains short videos with examples, exercises suitable for individual or team use and supporting materials.

Face-to-face

Each module is a three hour session delivered face-to-face in metropolitan and regional locations across Victoria. All participants are encouraged to attend Module 1. It will be assumed that participants have attended Module 1, have read the Victorian Framework or attended other professional learning opportunities before participating in further modules.

Backfill

A total of one day backfill is available for one early childhood professional per service to attend the face-to-face modules. Please note: Backfill is not available for the repeat modules if a service has already claimed backfill for an early childhood professional to attend the previous module training.

Standard payment rates are as follows:

  • Unqualified or Certificate III Qualified $265.00 per day
  • Diploma or Advanced Diploma Qualified $320.00 per day
  • Qualified Early Childhood Teacher $360.00 per day

Participants from Licensed Children’s Services must provide their License ID, service name and qualification level when they register to ensure that backfill can be paid. The backfill payment will be transferred to services through a service agreement variation.

Cost

There will be a cost of $25 per module, or $80 for all four modules.
