Victorian Early Years Learning and Development Framework
The Minister for Children and Early Childhood Development released the draft Victorian Early Years Learning and Development Framework for children aged from birth to eight years for trial and validation on 6 August 2009.
The draft Victorian Early Years Learning and Development Framework seeks to strengthen children's learning and development in the critical years from birth to eight years. It will guide a partnership approach between families and everyone who works with children. The draft Victorian Early Years Learning and Development Framework links the learning outcomes and pedagogy in the national Early Years Leaning Framework to the Victorian Essential Learning Standards to provide continuity for children’s learning and development.
